Would you imagine a day when the world would stop to assist the same event, broad-casted in seven different languages? O.k. World cup and Olympic Games do it already. But not, I’m not talking about mainstream events, I’m talking about Pangea Day. On May 10, at 18′clock GMT, Cairo, Kigali, London, LosAngeles, Mumbai and Rio de Janeiro will be the locations for live programs, music and speakers.
In the occasion 24 short movies will be broadcast during a four hours event. So, what’s so different? The great thing about Pangea Day, beside the transmission in seven different languages, is that it will be available in the Internet, TV and mobile phones worldwide with the purpose to make people to get know more about each ones life and focus in our similarities, not in what makes us different, using the power of film to strengthen tolerance and compassion. Awesome!
